Background

For 12 years I have worked on setting up CSR management systems in companies, with a particular focus on the ecological transition. A consultant, then a CSR manager, then a consultant again, I enjoy supporting the change towards integrating social responsibility into the value chain of SMEs.

In my last salaried role, I built and rolled out the CSR management system from scratch: gap analysis, ISO 20121 and ISO 14001 certification, then support all the way to B Corp certification and mission-driven company status (entreprise à mission) in 2024. I also ran a fortnightly climate and culture awareness programme for the teams.

Since then, I have supported companies from a range of sectors towards an EcoVadis score, ISO 20121 certification, carbon impact calculations and the eco-design of services.

Impact studies

Carbon impact studies for cultural and luxury exhibitions and institutions:

  • heritage exhibition of a haute couture house
  • exhibition of a champagne house in London
  • exhibition of a contemporary art foundation in Paris
  • national pavilion at a major art biennale (2019-2024)

For this pavilion, I built a custom CO₂ calculation tool and a carbon pathway from a 2019 baseline footprint and a 2022 estimate, aligned with the Paris Agreement, and trained the teams to use it.

Approach

Close to the field and aware that transition programmes have to be sustained over the long term, I have developed an educational approach, whose effectiveness comes from building the skills of the people I work with.

In practice, I build tools and methods that are easy to adopt, I train in-house teams rather than create dependence on a consultant, and I aim for verifiable results. My assignments reach a 95% success rate in CSR certifications. For the remaining 5%, we face major non-conformities that call for corrective action plans.
